Jamey S. Seely


Jamey Seely joined Quaint Energy as an advisor advising Quaint’s Leadership on Corporate Strategy, Energy Innovation & Emerging Technologies, Strategic Partnership Management, Corporate governance and commercial transaction. Jamey is currently the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of ION Geoscience, a NYSE listed Company, providing technology driven geosciences solutions to the global Oil & Gas Industry. As an accomplished executive and business leader; Ms. Seely’s energy industry experience includes various roles in mergers & acquisitions, securities and private placements, commercial transactions, corporate governance, and finance transactions including the negotiation of several multi-billion dollar facilities and investments.


Prior to joining ION, Ms. Seely served as Senior Vice President of Alternative Energy for NRG Energy, Inc., with management and legal oversight of multiple new business and startup ventures related to enhanced oil recovery, solar power and nuclear project development. She also recently served as the Chief Executive Officer and general counsel for Nuclear Innovation North America (NINA), a joint venture subsidiary of NRG Energy in conjunction with Toshiba Corporation. Prior to NRG Energy, Jamey served as Vice President and General Counsel at Direct Energy, and as Partner in Corporate and Securities Law with Thompson & Knight LLP, one of the leading private law firms. 


Jamey is a frequent speaker on legal and diversity issues.  She has twice been a finalist in the Best Corporate Counsel Awards hosted by the Houston Business Journal and the Association of Corporate Counsel and won the “Champion of Diversity Award” in 2007. In 2008, Diversity Magazine named her one of the “Most Powerful & Influential Women in Texas,” and she was recognized as a Diversity First Award Winner at the Texas Diversity & Leadership Conference.  Prior to going in-house, Jamey was a Partner at Thompson & Knight L.L.P.  She has been a blogger on green issues for PINK Magazine, a guest columnist for the Texas Lawyer, and a frequent contributor to various other publications.


Ms. Seely holds a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude at Baylor University.  She also holds a Professional Certificate in Energy Innovation & Emerging Technologies from Stanford University.  She is licensed to practice in Texas and New York.



Nicholas E. Rockecharlie


Nick joined Quaint Energy as an advisor, focused on private placement transactions, fund raising and investor management. Nick is currently the Managing Director of Rockecharlie & Co., a corporate financial advisory firm he founded in 1979. Since then, Rockecharlie & Co. has advised on and arranged the sale of privately held corporations as well as various private transactions including management buyouts, recapitalizations, mergers, acquisitions, and, where appropriate, the divestiture of non-strategic assets. In 1996 and again in 2001, Mr. Rockecharlie originated and co-invested with Tanglewood Investments Inc. in acquisitions that became key components of the Ameri-Forge Group which was sold in 2012 with annual revenues approaching $1 Bn to private equity group First Reserve.


Between 2004 and 2013, Mr. Rockecharlie invested with and assumed operating positions with two former clients: a Houston-based importer and distributor of flexible packaging films and an exploration, production, and drilling company working primarily in Northwest Africa. From 2005 to 2008, he was one of three co-founders and the CFO of Seno Medical Instruments in San Antonio TX. Seno is commercializing instrumentation based on a functional imaging technology on which it holds a world-wide battery of patents. Prior to founding Rockecharlie & Co., Mr. Rockecharlie was vice president of Charter New York Leasing Corp. (1977-1978) responsible for originating and closing participations in LBO financing transactions.


As vice president of Commercial Credit Capital Corporation in Baltimore (1972-1977), he was responsible for institutional sales of equity and debt interests in leveraged leases arranged by the firm. Between 1968 and 1971, he served in the U.S. Army and completed the Infantry Officer Candidate program at Ft. Benning GA prior to serving in the 52nd Signal Battalion in the Republic of Vietnam. Mr. Rockecharlie has been active in community affairs including service as a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Houston, director of The Houston Racquet Club, and mentor and director of the Investment Banking Scholars Club at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. 

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Loyola University Maryland and a Master of Administrative Science from The Johns Hopkins University, Carey Business School.

Pat LaStrapes


Pat joined Quaint Energy as an advisor focused on overall strategic growth, technology selection management, energy assets, markets and regulation. Pat is an industry thought leader in business strategy and execution along the entire energy value chain. His 35-year executive background includes roles as Vice Chairman of World LNG Fuels and President and Energy Practice Leader of Zeus Intelligence.


He has also held senior management roles with WPL Holdings/Alliant Energy and Texas-Ohio Companies, as well as executive roles with Falcon Seaboard Oil Company, Stone & Webster Management Consultants, and ANR Pipeline. Pat is currently a strategy advisor in private practice. He sits on the board of advisors of Enovation Partners, an elite team of top-tier management consultants, where he bolsters the firm’s subject matter expertise in LNG, natural gas and power.

Moreover, Pat is an international wine judge and a collector, lecturer and specialist of rare and fine wines. Pat lives in Houston, Texas.

Pat holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Houston.
